Hi, I'm Logan McKerlich

I am a data scientist at PACCAR Parts. Working on projects that often overlap with supply chain or pricing. If you are interested in seeing a summary of my professional career here is a link to my resume which is hopefully up to date.

I would like this website to be a place where I can share who I am without worrying about using buzzwords recruiters like, or optimizing for AI agents parsing my resume.

Here I will talk more about how I tie my professional skills into my personal interests and passions. I intend to share some of the things I learn along the way. I find that when applying my technical skills to my hobbies I often think about them in a different way that leads to a deeper understanding of the topic.

I rowed competitively in college and one of my main passions these days is fitness especially cycling. There is a great overlap of cycling and data science because I am able to collect so much data on my rides. Follow me on Strava if you want to see me manufacture training data ("training data" double entendre). I have a lot of ideas I want to build on top of this data and as I work on them I will update this website.
